Descrição

Learn how to design parts, assemblies, and detailing in SolidWorks® 2010 studying and putting into practice in the step-by-step procedures in diverse examples throughout the course. You will learn how to draft and model in SolidWorks®, including the most complex operations, as mechanism motion study simulations. You will also learn about publishing and displaying your designs in exploded views, eDrwings, and Rendering. In practical examples, you will learn how to design parts and components, such as a Skateboard, mechanical grips, and a hairdryer to enhance your learning performance. Let Render teach you to design in SolidWorks® 2010.

Objetivos

  • Introduce basic concepts and design in SolidWorks® in order to simulate the movements of mechanisms and display products
  • Teach the student how to model parts, assemble parts, and add details

A quem se destina

  • People who wish to learn about SolidWorks® for designing a great variety of models, for example, mechanical components and plastic products
  • Professionals who already use SolidWorks® in their design work and who wish to upgrade to this new version

Conteúdo do Curso

In this course, we will learn how to design in SolidWorks® 2010 using practical examples. We´ll see several case studies to facilitate learning the necessary tools for modeling parts, create assemblies, and generate detailing. We´ll learn how to use the main modeling, assembly, and detailing tools. After that, through the practical examples, we´ll continue on to first modeling skateboard parts. Then, a mechanical grips and a hairdryer. After modeling these parts and components, we´ll assemble each assembly. Also, we´ll study motion simulation. Then to conclude, we´ll detail some assemblies, create exploded assembly views, introduce e-Drawings and finally do the Rendering in PhotoWorks.

Módulo 1

First steps in the program

In this module, we´ll introduce you to SolidWorks®. This software is used a great deal in mechanical fields and product design. You´ll learn about the main types of files: "Part", "Assembly", and "Drawing". We´ll also provide you a guided tour through the system interface, such as basic commands and toolbars, for example: "Features" and "Sketches".
